Kitsap Monday Hikers Welcome You

We began over 40 years ago with people meeting in a parking lot and deciding where they wanted to hike that Monday.

Now we are a group of almost 700 Kitsap (or former Kitsap) people who meet to hike 52 Mondays a year. Don't worry, not all of us hike each week. In fact, each hike usually has about a dozen participants.
We organize 3 hikes each week:
Walkers start around 9:30 and go for about five miles, then have lunch and coffee.
Hikers explore the Olympics for 3 seasons and hike in the lowlands in the winter season. They launch at 8am and carpool to a trailhead.
The Mountain Goats explore the deepest and steepest parts of the Olympics: snow, rain or shine. They also meet at 8am and carpool.

We like to think we are delightfully and deliberately disorganized, but full of experienced backcountry folks who practice safe hiking and look out for each other.
