Connecting with one of our founders Good morning everyone, Karen & I had the great pleasure of spending part of a morning with one of the founding members of the Kitsap Monday Hikers, Wanda Butler. This lovely hiker is 96 years young and still whip smart! We spent time talking about the trails (she remembers going up to Lake Constance!), how the group started and evolved, how hiking and life have changed in the last 50 years, coping with COVID fears, and just life in general. It was a delightful visit! Keep tuned for a 97th birthday celebration in March.
