Good morning everyone, That was quite a surprise yesterday, wasn’t it! We don’t ever get TORNADO WARNING flashing on our phones (well, almost never — can’t forget about the Port Orchard tornado of 2018). Those of us with midwestern or southern roots had flashbacks of hiding in a storm cellar, bathtub or inside closet. I was at a yoga studio where we all sat in a circle and told calming stories. Luckily nobody was injured and the only results of the storm was a little hail and wind. Whew! Here is what is planned for the coming Monday: Walkers: The Walkers will hike the south end of the Larry Scott Trail. They will meet at the Poulsbo Viking Park & Ride at 9:30 or at the Larry Scott Milo-Curry trailhead(144 Milo Curry Road, Port Townsend, WA, 98368 — off 4 Corner Road) at 10:15am. Hikers: The Hikers will hike Dosewallips River. They will depart from the Poulsbo Viking Park & Ride at 8am. Hikers meet first in the back row, Goats at the far end. Mountain Goats: The Goats will hike Little River Trail with a hoped side trip to the Gregory Mine. They will depart from the Poulsbo Viking Park & Ride at 8am.
